Steer Clear Of Some Summer Trends on Clearance

We all like a good deal, but remember when you are shopping clearance items at this time you are very susceptible to the fleeting summer trends. Oops, I think I just bought one, but at least it reminds me of a classic retro look... eccentric as the dress may be. May I kindly advise you to NOT fall victim to the Gladiator Sandal trend. Ladies, you must have a model foot and stellar pedicure for this oh-so-naked-foot look. However, if your feet are one of your best assets, best go out and shop like mad for the on sale, scandalous sandals that most of us do not dare to wear. They were suppose to be all the craze this year and I saw not one gal wearing them this summer. Therefore next summer, you can sport the classiness of yesteryear, last year that is.

Prepacking Bags for Spontaneous Adventures

  • Oversized Fashionable Handbag for Day to Day Items and a Small Purse (The bag should be small enough to sling over your shoulder with comfort, yet large enough to fit your purse, sweater, compact umbrella and a few other small items.)
  • Gym Bag with MANY Pockets Packed with a Toiletries Bag, Clean Workout Clothing/Towels/Swimsuit, Plastic Bag for Wet Items, Gym Sneakers and Yoga Mat/Athletic Equiptment
  • In the Kitchen Keep a Picnic Pack with all Basics such as Cups, Plates, Utensils, Napkins/Wet Wipes, BOTTLE/WINE OPENER(I always used to forget that), Salt/Pepper and a Swiss Army Type Knife
  • During Summer a Beach Bag with Sunblock, Sunglasses, Hair Tie, Magazines, Clean Towels/Swimsuit, Plastic Bag for Wet Items, Beach Hat if you like and of course the Frisbee
  • During Winter (for those who play winter sports) Large Duffle Bag with Essential Warm Clothing Items and Gear and ALWAYS In Your Car A Bag of Warm Winter Clothing and Boots for an Emergency (or in case you get invited to go ice skating, sledding or on a romantic sleigh ride!)
